Account & Email

Q: I didn’t receive my confirmation email. What should I do?

Most confirmation emails arrive within 2-3 minutes. If you haven’t received it:

  • โ€ข Outlook: Check “Junk Email” folder
  • โ€ข Yahoo: Check “Bulk” folder

Some email providers delay delivery. Give it a few minutes.

We’ll manually verify your account within 1 hour during business hours.

Q: Can I resend my confirmation email?

Yes! Go to your account settings and click “Resend Confirmation Email”. If you don’t see this option, email support@callgpt.co.uk and we’ll resend it manually.

Technical Issues

Q: I can’t load the subscription/pricing page. What’s wrong?

This is usually a browser or network issue. Try these steps in order:

Temporarily disable ad blockers (uBlock, AdBlock), privacy extensions (Privacy Badger), and VPNs.

Use Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions).

Q: The app freezes after a few prompts. How do I fix this?

Features & Usage

Q: How do I switch AI models?

Click the model selector at the top center of the screen. Choose from GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, or Perplexity.

The model will reset to default after each response. You need to select your preferred model before sending each new message.

Your conversation context is preserved when switching models, so you can compare responses from different AI providers without starting over.

Q: Where can I see my cost tracking?

Cost is displayed in the top-right corner after each message (e.g., “Cost: $0.0023”).

For detailed breakdown:

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Billing โ†’ Usage History
  2. View costs by conversation, model, or date range
  3. Export reports for accounting/billing clients

Q: How do I edit artifacts?

When AI generates code or content:

  1. Click the artifact (code block or document)
  2. Click “Edit” button
  3. Make your changes in the built-in editor
  4. Click “Save” (version increments automatically: v1 โ†’ v2)
  5. Click “Send to Chat” to get AI review of your edits
  6. Iterate and improve continuously

Syntax highlighting works for 50+ programming languages automatically!

Q: What does the privacy protection message mean?

When you see an orange text message about privacy protection, it means we automatically detected and redacted sensitive data from your message.

Billing & Subscription

Q: Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, absolutely! Cancel anytime with no cancellation fees.

To cancel:

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Subscription
  2. Click “Cancel Subscription”
  3. Confirm cancellation

Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Q: What happens after my 7-day trial?

After 7 days:

  • You’ll be charged for your selected plan
  • No charge if you cancel before trial ends
  • Email reminder sent 2 days before trial ends
  • Cancel anytime in Settings โ†’ Subscription
